I’ve been sharing my writing and my thoughts these past few months. Today, I have some actual news!
Mary Not Broken, the third book written in the Glory Bishop series, is due out this fall! Mary Johnson is first introduced as the overbearing mother in Glory Bishop, and then she’s back again in Glory Unbound. As one of the main antagonists in both of those books, she’s hardly likable, and frankly, barely tolerable. But like any good bad guy, Mary has her own story to tell. In Mary Not Broken, we meet Mary as a bright-eyed optimistic teenager of indomitable spirit and iron will.
Originally published in 2021 on Amazon’s Kindle Vella as a serial novel, Mary Not Broken is either the first or last book in the Glory Bishop Trilogy. Though it’s the prequel to Glory Bishop, it was written last. It seems that Mary didn’t start telling me her story until after I finished Glory Unbound… and what a story she told! Here’s a blurb:
